[00:00:19] Daniel hey he had to come on this one because he went with us to i was gonna say dayton he came with us to toledo yeah he showed up at the eli field swap meet wow sweet and i missed both of those more importantly not more importantly but more excitedly he's coming with us to joe noll yeah that is exciting just because i need a pack mule life story that's what brothers do so how's everybody been it's literally been like a month

[00:00:53] Since we've all sat down tommy's back it's been yeah longer well i guess yeah since the we me included a little over a month yeah a little over a month we all sound so excited by the way well we we've got a lot on our minds we've got a lot to talk about there we go so should we just

[00:01:09] Dive right inside right started let's just well hold on okay was there anything new this week i didn't see anything no i'm disappointed yeah it's been like a month since they've come out with anything are they holding back i don't know actually that's a good question efly usually releases more than they have recently the last one they came out with is the f86 f86 with a painted canopy and that which really really bothers dave by the way can you tell so i'm sorry i'm trying to hide it off topic we're going back to your rj gritter conversation yes the decathlon for the

[00:01:46] With the gray windows yes so i've seen one in in real life now in person and it would not have bothered me had you guys not pointed it out to be honest but it's earth shatteringly disturbing isn't it no i actually don't know what it would look like if it was black only because all the other colors on it are light they're vibrant they go like they look really good on it i don't know how much or how different oops how different that would look if it was stark black on that so i've been

[00:02:18] Thinking about that like if i if i ultimately buy one of these things which they fly great they do i mean we say that all the time having seen one fly in person but i think what i what i will do if i buy one is i've got that cool color changing paint oh the stuff that goes the flip-flop stuff that goes i've got some that goes from like kind of a gold to green color and i think and it's black yeah straight on right that with a dark black base i think that would actually look because i painted a canopy like that once the inside of a canopy and it actually looks kind of cool so but it's

[00:02:54] Not as stark as just black what i mean it's got i don't know it's like a smoked color where it's a little bit lighter than well i mean it's definitely not pitch black when you look at it but it also has color in it so i don't know i think that would like the light would be reflecting yeah the chromatic or whatever right exactly chrome illusion is what dupont used to call it but i'm thinking if i if i get one eventually will yeah i'll paint the windows with that and maybe that won't be as stark as just black but even black i think would look better than the gray that's

[00:03:26] On it so i'll be honest if i end up getting one i'm gonna be way too lazy and just leave it gray that's just me though fair enough this is yeah your mic stand is very noisy

[00:03:40] It's not annoying at all i can't lock that in well you're gonna have to deal with it and so or you could just not move it but i move forward and backwards so i don't hurt my ginger little back it's been sore lately so yeah i'm trying to make sure i'm in tip-top shape for for joan yeah it's coming up soon yeah anything else by the way no i'm sorry i just didn't

[00:04:03] Know if there was go in order of what sorry and what we're doing seeing if there was anything new i didn't recall saying anything so i didn't want to miss it what i mean i know what you mean okay so you guys went to dayton toledo toledo now i'm doing it yay we went to dayton

[00:04:19] But that's late you and i went to dayton but we went to toledo first so this has been three out of the last four weekends have been travel distance swap meets mostly ohio yeah a lot of ohio lots in ohio so what do you guys think of ohio toledo

[00:04:38] Pretty good yeah pretty good busy such excitement i didn't consider it i wish i could contribute but

[00:04:46] You guys went without me we did did you get to see the fly through i did yeah ron sent that to me

[00:04:51] That was pretty cool our table was on there yeah you could see dave's yeah and if you could see me in there too i don't know did you guys see me i didn't see you so there was so this okay so they did a fly through and i remember the drone flying yeah it was saturday morning early before everybody got there yeah so and actually it looked like part of that fly through was before anyone was there except like the volunteers like before it was open to even us as swappers to come in but anyway so yes there's a when the fly through that they did that was posted on the toledo rc the facebook page whatever i don't remember what it's called now swapping anyway the expo blah blah

[00:05:26] Blah yes if you're on their page on facebook you can see it but anyway so it was a fly through with this little tiny drone i mean it couldn't have been more than six inches you think yeah it was about six inches it was a small one but anyway so they flew through and they

[00:05:43] That you took my mind way off but anyway so they flew through there was a that big racetrack yes that they were trying to i was trying to sell it that was there was one table or two tables between it and us i don't remember i think one it was just one just one so after he flew around on that kind of came right over our table and that was before we were there so you could see dave's pawnee that was in frame all nicely displayed looking nice and sharp

[00:06:15] And then they flew later when i was walking around so they have all the big tables set up in the middle for the static displays i was looking at one of those and it flew right over me and you can see me in the video you got to look quick because it's a split second but i tell you what that's reflection off your head or i was wearing a hat thank you sorry much you would have said the same thing to me that's the best split second of that whole video just so but no it was interesting it was cool because you got to see the scale you got to see how big it was it looked to me

[00:06:49] From the from the fly the drone footage like it might have been bigger than than we went than it

[00:06:56] Was last year it was more crowded okay there were more tables well good yeah they jammed a lot more

[00:07:01] Tables and i think they were even adding some that yeah on that friday they had rain out because they were moving things around to to add more tables did did the did they spill over into

[00:07:13] The flying area where the no no no our trailers were in there that was so nice oh really the difference this year you got to leave your trailer oh that is nice that's awesome so they didn't have the outside trailer parking like they did last year apparently the price on that skyrocketed yeah well to be

[00:07:29] Honest i don't recall seeing a lot of trailers in that parking lot last year when we had to park it

[00:07:34] There what would you guys guess 25 oh back there in the back room yeah so i take it they didn't fly

[00:07:40] Then oh they did oh they did just they just pushed the trailers up against the wall and then used the rest so they stood up like their backs towards the trailer and yeah i'll tell you what was perfect

[00:07:52] Like when we got there we like daniel backed in because daniel drove took his trailer and he backed into where so you've been there so you have the walk door in the middle yes and on each side is a bigger opening right for walking and doing whatever yeah so he pulled right up to that walk door in the middle and that's where the trailer stayed the whole weekend oh that's awesome so by the time we would buy something yeah just walk it right something else or buy something there was no loading

[00:08:23] At the end of the show it was like put it in the trailer as we bought it hop in and i mean you could see right through that door the back of his trailer and it was it was perfect oh that's a great setup it really was good deal i think i overheard them talking about possibly having to put tables back there next year though if it gets bigger yeah well they did this year apparently quite a bit and i think they're expecting growth next year too which makes sense which is awesome so yeah and we're prepaid for next year already yes we did we already paid for the tables next year we probably will after

[00:08:55] Talking to tommy maybe buy another one just because just because i mean so by the time you do the math tables were 30 bucks more to have a table than just to get in because 20 bucks to get in both days and it's 50 bucks to have a table both days table comes with an admission so why not spend the extra 30 bucks and have an extra table that's my thought yeah i mean and i can buy the table it's not a not a

[00:09:26] Big deal i'm not worried about that but like honestly if you would have gone this year with what you there was no way we would have had to have four tables at least well we were on two and it was full

[00:09:39] It was very full but plus all underneath mine was full underneath and i say mine because well we'll talk about it when we get to okay we'll keep talking i have when we get to when we get to dayton we'll talk about that but yeah the tables that i had were like full and underneath but anyway

[00:09:57] Kind of like we had stuff set up too but what was okay so i think dayton was cool for me ah shucks no toledo here we go toledo was cool for me because i took a lot of stuff to sell and i almost sold everything i took i think i i don't remember what was i think i ended up taking 20 or 22 flying things they weren't all airplanes some more drones that i had that i just don't care about anymore and i got rid of all i

[00:10:34] Think but i came home with two that's awesome is that right i should have made notes something like

[00:10:39] That yeah i bought one for me and turned around sold it i forgot about that so oh god what was it

[00:10:45] That was the did you make money on it no that would have been so this is this is this is the best part about it so there is this was the space walker the umx space walker right yeah yeah that was it people come up they open it up they look at it they close it they put it down i had a very low number on it because it had been glued together that's how it was when i bought it i it was not that nice so they had i mean like i said i don't know how many people open that up looked at it and

[00:11:18] Just put it back all day long that for some reason that bothered dave like it got to the point where he he just told me he's like hey can i give you 20 bucks for that and then just i'll take it off the table and i was like yeah that's fine we'll do that well he ended up leaving it for sale up there but after he gave me money he went to reprice it he thought i had it at 25 bucks i had it at 20 so he offered me what i was asking for it and then he ended up selling it for 20 i think right

[00:11:48] I broke even yeah yeah so but i owned it for like 10 minutes it was it was impressive like i just the look on his face when he saw that i was actually because he was going to try and make a little bit

[00:11:58] Of money on it which i don't know why you thought i wanted to make five bucks i don't know why you thought that was going to happen if people looked at it all day and wouldn't take it for 20 i've done this before i've had something that wouldn't sell wouldn't sell wouldn't sell i mark it up and it goes it's happened to me more than once with the craft shows

[00:12:14] Huh well we had somebody come back and say oh this was 20 before and i just sat there and thought it's not mine anymore i'm not even gonna say anything but that might have been that was the guy

[00:12:27] You sold it to or not yeah and he just handed me 20 bucks so he didn't even he didn't even look at the tag on it that said 25 he just handed me 20 bucks it's like so it was somebody else yeah now

[00:12:38] It's gone and i don't have to deal with it i thought that was funny he thought i had 25 and was trying to get a deal out of me would you take 20 yeah that's what i have on of course i will

[00:12:47] And then the best part somebody comes by later says well this was 20 years earlier price went up

[00:12:53] That's awesome and then he just walked on i think yeah that's all right i had same guy try to haggle with me on those videos too i don't get it i would have thrown the okay go on i had a 10 pack of world war ii videos in a nice little steel can of what though world war ii 10 pack of what

[00:13:15] Dvds dvds okay very 2003 just saying go on it had five dollars on it it five dollars

[00:13:23] Five dollars too much for my blood but yes one guy came by i said will you take two dollars no no it's gonna be five it comes back about half an hour later three no five dollars somebody else came by will you take four no it's more effort to break a five to give you four singles than it is to just give you the five dollar bill five dollars you can't even buy a hamburger for five

[00:13:49] Dollars not to mention 10 dvds i mean dvds though i have i i don't even know if i have a way of playing dvds or blu-rays right now to be honest with you yeah no he's playing my computer there's no drive on that one yeah and this is old like this is probably an eight-year-old computer and

[00:14:09] Even back then they didn't have one at least they weren't vhs i must be stuck at a time warp because

[00:14:16] I use dvds all the time yeah i'm not sure i think i can you play a dvd like on the playstations yeah yeah okay so casey okay so the playstation at our house so we have that i can do that too then

[00:14:30] Just because of it i think same thing yeah but it's funny because we have a whole tub full of dvds and literally overflowing 12 years because crystal won't let me get rid of them she even has vhs that is why i completely well i still have some of those too i got a machine in the background but

[00:14:47] They're but they're like under the entertainment sniping entertainment it's the tv stand and we never see them because we're never open those doors but like when you open the doors there they are so like family videos or something because we have some we have a few of those yeah that we've

[00:15:00] Converted to dvd though but nothing like commercially produced movies yeah we have a few of those oh my

[00:15:06] Gosh yeah i've got several and it's not because i'm sunday it's just because i haven't thrown them thrown them out yet yeah but eventually that's where they're going yeah but we have and it's funny

[00:15:16] Because so with the camper we're taking it has a dvd player in it so we see we could have watched

[00:15:23] World war ii videos we might have to go through my tub and see i got a dvd player in my trailer

[00:15:28] There you go perfect see although i don't plan on watching tv except for i don't either probably

[00:15:33] Yeah you'll probably i'll be back there in between naps getting ready to go to sleep yeah in between

[00:15:37] Naps yeah anyway so it's alito gosh we got off topic again go figure so yeah we first got there park the trailer dave took two airplanes yeah his pawnee which we converted the skyward thing which i tell you what there was a ton of people that liked that airplane nobody bit on it no and

[00:16:03] I thought it was pretty reasonably priced did you bring it home yeah oh you came home with a good

[00:16:06] He didn't want to take it well i don't blame him that's a cool airplane i like that it's like

[00:16:11] And i was kind of on the fence and i was like i don't really like it but i do so i took it and didn't put a stupid cheap price on it but the price i put on it i thought was not awful and there was others selling for more money may ask 375. i think that's reasonable for a bind it was a binding fly it was ready to fly yeah so i think it was four something no well at one point i took and did change it to four and a quarter okay dave changes the prices all i sounds like they go up

[00:16:47] That's weird usually well that's when i decide i kind of want to take it home aha so later in the

[00:16:53] Day the prices go up versus the other way around usually it goes down the late way man i've been doing

[00:16:58] It wrong i know the second day is supposed to be cheaper no but anyway so he brought that one which there was another hanger night this is the the teal pawnee the one that they made hanger night made several years ago a while back that was still there was one there that was still the teal still i mean the motor it was still a two stroke it might have been an os or a four stroke i

[00:17:22] Mean do you remember that i can't remember what he had in that i think it was an os something or

[00:17:27] Another it looks it was a little rough the motor itself was not in great shape looked like it had been perhaps ran into the ground a couple times okay just by looks i mean i have no clue how it ran or anything but he was only like 25 bucks off of your price like lower and mine look brand new yeah and and custom absolutely yeah so with a little light on the top that drop tanks yeah yeah thanks

[00:17:54] Yeah but so it came home and i'm not upset about that i'm not upset about that either i like that

[00:17:59] Airplane now the other one dave took even though it's gray what was the other one you took because this this was slept with pup interesting so how long did it take you to put that together when we

[00:18:11] Got there i've gotten it down to a system it takes me about 20 minutes so i had my stuff pretty much

[00:18:17] All carried out to the table daniel helped me carry stuff out and all set up dave stayed in the back because they had the round table set up by the trailer like in that back area and he spent he says 20 minutes i think he's being conservative well that was the bell time it had some dust on it so i did clean it okay so we'll say an hour and a half no it wasn't that long but anyway so he got that all prettied up and and brought out to the table and we're standing in front of the table we were talking and then brian stops by he's walking by and says something about brian burkar brian burkar

[00:18:54] Balsam it says something about oh i need to find out who owns this one and dave's like well that's mine so brian's like well how much do you want for it no dave shot him a price he said i'll take it i'll be darned so it was up for about seven minutes i think and then you had to take it apart and then he had to take it back apart so for the next half hour he was taking that apart yeah but he had cash in his pocket so that helps i don't remember when that happened but

[00:19:24] Yes well he got paid and the plane went over to that's awesome to brian's table and then he sold it for 50 more no he took it home with him actually he might have so i don't know but knowing brian that's funny so it didn't even start i mean like honestly we sold probably two or three planes the setup day yeah like there was a lot like really that's the other thing about buying oh i took three i forgot about the glider oh yeah i forgot about that too and that one sold a lot of stuff

[00:19:58] Sold though like i was i was happy yeah i have a pen i just had a thought and i don't want to forget

[00:20:05] There don't click it's already out right on well gosh darn here go ahead continue well i lost my train of thought again oh so no yes brian bought that back so brian bought that off of him like i said i had a bunch of airplanes i took i actually did sell these

[00:20:30] Sold the twin timber can you believe it yes those things are terrible no i i disagree like i enjoyed it i thought it flew well it was fun but ironically i well not ironically but i didn't like the way it's stored i get that it was a pain with the nacelles on the three blade props the nacelles on each wing two-piece wing just hard to find a good spot to successfully store it took up a lot of room for what it was and i didn't want to give up that much room to it i get that and then ironically enough

[00:21:03] We'll get to it later but one of the planes i picked up the next weekend was the same style of my airplane so i don't learn my purchase a twimber no it wasn't a twimber but it was a twin similar burr but no so what else daniel didn't bring anything to sell he was solely in buy mode

[00:21:25] Nice i love that i love it when people are in buy mode because then like i love to help facilitate

[00:21:32] That makes me feel good i brought back less this year than i did last year well last year you brought

[00:21:37] Back a third scale cub that is true he's got like it would be hard to beat that honestly it's true i challenge you to do it next year or at joan or at joan yeah there will be lots of

[00:21:49] Days we'll talk about it we're getting there we're getting there yeah we bought g38s in bulk

[00:21:57] Yeah oh yeah ron mentioned that you guys came back with quite a few engines no i wasn't even talking about this one i forgot about toledo more yeah we bought back what four five five i think there's

[00:22:10] Five five g38s so now wow so you can bend as many crankshafts now as you want to there's a couple of them that are going to be parts motors but i think three of them are going to be decent

[00:22:22] Motors okay yeah oh and there was more but i yeah he kept telling me stop you got enough motors did you buy them all from one guy or yeah the whole tub i was looking at one he goes i'm gonna get a deal on the whole the whole tub yeah so that's how they do it the whole tub hey that's how they do it

[00:22:40] That's right i mean that and again that was he was happy to get rid of them and you were happy to take

[00:22:45] Them yeah that was it was like within oh a half hour of the the doors open and he sold those so to you

[00:22:53] Yeah yeah so i i finally bought myself a mini draco i bought one there i had one ordered through horizon but i wasn't going to get it until i have another pen i wasn't going to get it until it was either late april which that had passed or no not at that time i thought that was going to pass because i didn't think i was going to be in that shipment or late may from what i was told so i canceled that and went ahead and just picked up the one that was right in front of me yeah it

[00:23:24] Was a damaged box by which the boxes over there i'll show like it looks like literally the corner maybe quarter inch somebody just put it on a table and went thunk just very lightly like thunk and that

[00:23:37] Was the only that was the only damage my damaged box there wasn't much left of it but not like a

[00:23:42] Not like a wrinkled decal or something because something like that too right the plane was

[00:23:47] Perfect yeah this was just a box and it was 30 bucks off so it was cheaper than if i was to buy it well about what i would have spent for that man you didn't get any points well that's why i think with all that stuff it probably ended up being about this but it was in front of me and that night in the hotel i got to open it up and look at it and pet it and put it in bed next to me and sleep with it because i had my own bed there -huh all by myself we'll talk about that one later

[00:24:16] Okay but anyway so i got that i did get it home i did fly it they have a lot of cool details oh you've flown it -huh it's good yeah it i'm gonna have to do a little bit of

[00:24:27] More in-depth not programming it's a little bit twitchy and i don't think it's supposed to be some expo or something maybe yeah and i didn't spend a lot of time like literally i bound it up and it's been windy fluid yeah i got two flights on it i think and it for what it is i it doesn't fly as good as like the umx turbo timber evolution that's a mouth that's a it gets me every time that little plane flies amazing i was kind of expecting it to be more like that but maybe more

[00:25:02] Like a slower stole type airplane or airplane and flight characteristics but it's not really they're fairly heavy right for for as big as they are scale detail yeah adds quite a bit and i you can tell i did not fly it on a 4s though i just had a 3s so that might make a difference too i haven't bought one of the 4s batteries for it will certainly make it heavier but give it more power yeah which kind of loses the scale part but all those little bits and pieces just kind of scare me though that i'm going to break them off yeah it's definitely an airplane that would look okay being hung up or

[00:25:37] Displayed i mean it looks that good i think that's really cool neat yeah so the other stuff i bought then if we just we're going to talk about that i bought a 450 size e-flight club or cub on floats perfect on floats solely for the joe knoll yeah it's a good size 3s 2200 battery not too big not too small yeah it's transportable yeah but it's still big enough to fly good and have fun with so

[00:26:09] It did come with regular gear tiny wheels on it though so that if i ever put the regular gear on that will have to change you and your big wheels i like big wheels and i cannot lie lie the small ones just you other brothers can't deny sorry when a plane walks in

[00:26:29] Anyway but no the small ones just i like that the the bush look the bush plane look just does it for me i like those yeah small ones just okay when it doesn't roll as well like if you have taller grass or anything like that like i mean they actually do play an actual role yeah and how far

[00:26:47] Serve a purpose you can roll and how well you roll okay yeah but anyway so i got that for

[00:26:54] The sole purpose of flying at joe knoll yep i think i got a decent enough deal on it to where it didn't upset me to buy it didn't have a receiver but i had an actual home i threw in i think a six channel something or another just an old old style six channel not park flyer i don't know what one it was though sport receiver yeah it had a satellite but i don't know what one it was considering it might take a bath you don't want to put a good one in there anyway yeah okay come on

[00:27:25] That's just a fetus it is not going to take a bath if it does actually it might i don't know i mean i don't know you're not having fun unless you've got it up on its wing water we'll see and then so i bought two more the other plane i bought it actually was a first for me and it's one i've i've been wanting to get for a while because i've never had one but i finally bought a one meter elf dlg discus launch glider i haven't showed that to you yet have i well i've seen you a picture of

[00:27:59] You trying to launch it that was not trying to launch it that was launching it by the way okay fine i was actually proud of myself for doing that so 39 inch wingspan and i 27 inches long so it's a good that's why you've got a sore back no that was a little while ago i actually know exactly what i did to hurt my back and embarrassingly enough i was bending over to get something out of the chest freezer and i think i just twisted wrong i was like oh god that's gonna hurt later yeah the laundry by the way yeah exactly it's sucks to be getting old doesn't it but anyway

[00:28:36] Weird it's a small and nice and easy to be able to just throw it here it's a carbon fiber it's carbon fiber yeah there's a little bit of balsa on it it's made by vladmir models out of the ukraine which i thought was cool because they're not making them right now because of everything that's going on over there not cool that they're not making them but cool to know the actual company that made it i did like before i flew it and stuff i downloaded the manual read through it one of the things that was not done on mine that i'm going to have to do

[00:29:12] So the little finger hold that goes on the end of the wings is just square that's how they came in the in the manual it said you can shave them to kind of round them off so it's not so sharp on the edges i definitely can tell that i need to do that like i only launched it maybe 14 or 15 times i think i don't remember i've written down but i don't remember and by the end of that like i could tell just the tips my fingers were starting to hurt a little bit because it's it's a i mean

[00:29:45] It's smaller airplane but by the time you start to spin it around you get a little bit of centripetal force on there and it does put what centripetal force yeah yeah i was surprised that's a bit yeah that's a big word force or but it was nice i was able to maiden it at home it comes i think i i mean i don't know it was more than i was expecting to pay for it

[00:30:11] I mean it was 200 bucks i don't know if that's fair i mean it's carbon fiber it's not cheap and when you look them up they're not cheap at all especially some of the bigger ones yeah but there's no ailerons just has a good amount of dihedral so yeah it's just running an elevator and the whole elevator moves like it's the the whole thing is just hinged it's going to take like i said a lot more practice to launch it because i was always paranoid that i was going to hit the wing on the ground so instead of flying or throwing it up at an angle i was throwing

[00:30:43] It like almost straight out and so then i would get scared and pull up on the elevator which is like jolt straight up but i think actually flying it more and getting the hang of it it's going to be a fun little airplane i was getting minute and a half flights out of it which that's

[00:31:00] About what i got with that spirit elite on the yes but that was after walking a thousand feet and all that stuff you only had to walk 15 feet or so to get this thing right and i was actually

[00:31:12] Doing pretty good like landing within 10 to 15 feet of myself i had to walk one time because i misjudged the wind but that wasn't more than 30 feet or so so it's going to be a fun learning experience i like trying different things that i haven't tried before and i think that was the most economical way for me to get into a little dlg came with two or no came with a charger came with five batteries and it takes two at once two batteries yeah it's a little one cell

[00:31:46] That they run in series yeah they run series yes i had to think if i was in that voltage bump up the voltage and then like i said came with charger and five of those batteries

[00:31:59] But it interesting it it flies you'll have to try it it flies good it's fun you don't think so

[00:32:04] Maybe we'll see it's different are you taking it to no okay i mean maybe like i wasn't planning on it only because first off i don't know where i would fly it like it's not really the electric line maybe i don't know but and it's it's it scares me to take it places because it's very fragile oh even being carbon fiber well the wings and there's not much structure there yeah it's a light airplane very light okay but anyway so yeah my first dlg i'm excited about that i might end up

[00:32:40] Getting more in the future who knows i don't know if you do like gliders i don't know if bigger would be better though like i it's a good size especially for here but as they get bigger they get so much more expensive but i do wish that it had a lot would it be hard to put them on there no you can't it's not it's not made for at all so that airplane will stay the way it is what else did you get last thing i bought actually i bought off of daniel at the swap meet at the swap meet there's a little

[00:33:13] Story behind it we we were walking around daniel and i were they stayed at the table and stuff and this is the first time i had seen the airplane was when you and i were walking around and it was a three channel six well actually almost probably six foot wingspan you think i mean it's a good wingspan it's good size i mean it's but it was a like a goal wing type thing and the tail was weird

[00:34:25] So i looked at it daniel and i both looked at it maybe an old ben buckle kid or something yeah well i can i found out what it's called okay it's actually called the mystery man oh okay there you go i googled what was on it and i was like oh that's actually the name of the airplane that was kind of neat but anyway so we looked at it walked away and it was sitting up on like a table that was on top of a table i think it was on top of a table it was pretty high yeah and so from where we were sitting like where our tables were i could see it and i kept like in my mind i keep going back and

[00:35:00] Forth taunting you and i talked myself out of it again well then daniel and dave asked if or said something about walking around themselves for a while so i was like yeah i mean i'll sit here i don't have anything else to do that's fine so then they went and walked around well in the time they were gone i had so many conversations with myself in my head and i decided as soon as i get back i'm gonna go over and buy that like it's 40 bucks i will regret not doing it more than regret not having

[00:35:31] It just in case something happens 40 bucks i can always absorb that and not have to worry it wasn't expensive and so i kept looking over at it was still there kept looking at it still there so fine as soon as they get back i'm going well they were gone for like it was probably an hour hour

[00:35:47] And a half five six hours something because we went up to the front where all the vendors were so we're kind of going through there so we yeah we were gone for a little while yeah and then i look back

[00:36:02] And it's gone oh i'm like son of a i was i was a little disappointed and then they come back and i said something about it being bought yeah and nobody said anything i was just like i planned on going back and buying that it's gone i was a little disappointed well then an hour or two well i mean we already know how the story ends because well yeah then an hour or two later we go to put something

[00:36:30] In the well we had to load up as the show was over so we were okay that's what it was yeah we were

[00:36:35] Loading all our stuff back in the trailer and the trailer door opens and this airplane is sitting in there well my mind just goes to oh they bought it for me they knew i wanted it like i don't know that was the first thing i thought i'm like because i had all the conversation in my head not with anybody else but in my head i knew how much i wanted it and all that stuff like where i left them was oh i'm not gonna buy it it's it's no big deal so daniel went back and bought it before

[00:37:01] Because i did i i liked it too so i didn't want it to if he wasn't getting it yeah i'm gonna

[00:37:08] Yeah one of us is getting it right at home right so and i didn't know he liked it that much either because he walked away from it the same way i did yeah and so yeah he told me pay me for it if you want it that bad you can have it and then if you decide to get rid of it which knowing me i probably will before too long he gets first you'll get it back well i mean i want to fly it first i don't know why but i just think that would be a fun little old airplane to fly you do like your three channel it was neat it was it was just different looking right yeah i've not seen one like that

[00:48:10] It got better well the gentleman we bought it from it was his dad's his dad had passed based on the way this aircraft smelt i'm having a feeling that the gentleman may have passed from a lung disease oh he complained about my cub last year the smells were it is it has a strong nicotine addiction very strong what all does it need though i thought it was supposed to well it has four like what craft servos in it i actually have not even really looked at what would it need to be

[00:59:12] Between and this will be quick because it was a single day but we had the next weekend after toledo was the first swap me to deli field so i ended up going over friday night to help get stuff set up piper came with me i was surprised she wanted to come with me but she did it was so cute she was such a big help like she was taking all these airplanes and all these pieces and putting them out on the table laying them out because we had a bunch of stuff that was donated to the club horizon donated a lot of airplanes there were just a lot of things there that needed to be set up

[00:59:47] For the club yeah a lot of old transmitters like vintage transmitters junk transmitters that i would say call them junk but yes they were collector's item there you go perfect

[01:00:04] But yeah i mean she ended up setting all those out almost of those out we were there a little bit late that night it was after dark by the time we left but she was able she was excited we took our cars and we had enough time to go up back and run them on the little crawler track and stuff she had fun with that and then like originally she told me i'll go friday but she didn't want to go the next day and i said that's fine because the next day is going to be very early like i left the house left the house like at 5 30 oh my gosh which means i was up at like 4 45 i mean for me that is to be honest

[01:00:40] And for her that is but she wanted to go okay so of course not planning on that after i got home friday night i had to pack up everything that she would need for the next day because she needs snacks she needs a drink she needs toys she needs coloring books she needs her batteries charged so she can run the next day so i didn't get to bed till very late up early going like i said she got up though without any issue like i was so surprised i told her i was like if you give me heck in the morning i'm just leaving you like i'm not going to deal with a whiny kid because it's too early and i was

[01:01:16] So proud of her she i said my first time to get up that's all i said to her and she got up out of bed got dressed awesome good for her i know i was very proud it took a couple planes to sell i sold one of the two i took and that's mostly because i i priced the one that i didn't necessarily want to sell a little high it was one i forgot to take to toledo yeah toledo but it was the e-flight carbon z yak like i said i i like that plane i want that plane just i takes a different

[01:01:51] Size battery than what i have and i don't want to buy a battery for that plane that's the only thing that makes me want to get rid of it but i ended up keeping it because it's not costing me anything hanging where it's hanging it's not in my way so i was okay with that one i did sell the night vapor the ready to fly night vapor i mean that was like right away in the morning that was quick there was no that was one thing i noticed about this swap me too there really was not a lot of dickering on the prices i think the the prices that were set on especially the stuff that was

[01:02:30] You sent me and the prices i saw on the boxes i was like oh my gosh it's probably a good thing i'm not

[01:02:34] There well and you still bought one i did thanks to you but i ended up i mean yeah i ended up buying a few more this time what i'm very excited about actually and well i don't know how it will fly i'm sure it will be fine but i bought the the sea wind the tower hobby sea wind for joan all i figure that one's perfect though because i mean it's a float plane it's or it has gear yeah so i could take off on one line and land on another i won't but i could yeah i think they frown on that i think so

[01:03:11] A heck of a deal on that one though like i said brand new in box had i mean i had a receiver at home so no which actually no i ended up buying a receiver to put in that one because i wanted a decent a decent receiver for it so i went with the ar that one that one yeah with the as3x on it and then i ended up buying a carbon cub s2 the 1.3 meter which i also bought floats for that one

[01:03:51] Out of order but float flying at joan all is just easy it's so much fun and it's yeah well it's easy i know you're guaranteed to be able to fly because at least when we were there last year it was never particularly busy busy to the point where i was uncomfortable flying with the number of the airplane number of airplanes that were in the air it's just easy it's just and it's so much fun and

[01:09:57] You finally decide to tighten them you tighten them and then the next time you go to take it apart they seize together and then they don't come apart and then you have to pry them and then they break

[01:10:04] Back ask me how i know am i really supposed to no the aluminum gets galled mm-hmm yeah anyway they're missing a couple muffler parts but then overall i think we turned out all right on those sweet and then i've got a lots of those kinds of parts at swap meets yeah and then i ended up picking up a tower hobbies i think it was or great plans i think it was tower hobbies sport

[01:15:06] Going thursday night for setup was when we were going to get in you ended up calling to see if we could drop some airplanes off or unload which made a lot of sense but that was nice it was so we were able to quickly unload i mean not set anything out but just throw everything on the table so we could just show up friday morning and actually set it out nicely two hours early by the way yeah well that's how it wasn't no i like i'm just saying that that's awesome i hope

[01:15:33] They continue to do that my only beef with that and that's what i wanted to ah write my note earlier and this is not just it's not really a complaint i guess because if you buy a table you get to be part of the setup and you like even though the website says we discourage buying and selling before we technically open the show it happens like as you're walking in other people are walking out who have just walked in with their own stuff looking at you like you can't like you can't not let people swap before

[01:16:07] The doors are open especially if they're all there setting up at the same time and that's unfortunate for the people who aren't swapping so that when they come in at nine o'clock a lot of the good deals are probably already gone or maybe the airplane that they wanted is not so i mean maybe they should have gotten the table well i mean that's honestly no i get that but that's like like i don't i'm offering a complaint without a resolution there's like no way to fix that but i feel sometimes i feel bad for the people who buy tickets to come in who aren't paying for the table

[01:17:34] No like solution negative to the people that are coming in to buy stuff i see that as a a pro for the people that are there swapping and supporting because you're paying more for a table that's more for absolutely putting your stuff in there and it's oops that's just how it's going to be i

[01:18:41] The doors open but there's no way to police that so yeah anyway ron went and so no i didn't so that first night when we got there on thursday i saw right on the table behind us one of my unicorns which is the e-flight f-18 blue angels brand new in a box boxes taped closed yeah factory sealed still no price on it and so that whole night i'm i didn't sleep very well anyway because it was just

[01:19:16] Different place different sounds different all that kind of stuff and so i just kept thinking about it and i had a ridiculous high number that was my top limit stupid in my opinion high number for what it was and oddly enough when we got there the next morning we got there right when it opened and the guy was there and i saw him price it and that number was my stupid high number top of the line number and so i was like i gotta think about that because that's i know i want one but and so

[01:19:54] I was helping you set up and watching you do some stuff and all of a sudden i heard or i saw somebody on his phone walk by that guy's table and say to the person on his phone oh i just found it i'm going to come over there and get money and i'll be right back so he was talking to somebody else that had was set up and was set up in a different part of the the swap meet and he was looking at that airplane and so at that time i got out my wallet and one of the guys said here i'll take that and i was like

[01:20:27] Oh cool thanks and stuff so i bought it and i took it right out to the car and came back in as i was coming in that guy came back and asked about it and he said i just sold it i'm like you gotta be quick so i paid way too much for it thinking like in my mind this is the other thing

[01:20:48] That got you do you not want to say the number i don't necessarily want to say okay i mean i guess i i'm not gonna have four chances so and i just didn't know if you were building up to that or you're just really not going to tell us how much you paid for it well it kind of came back to bite

[01:21:35] So the arm plus is what it's called so it's armless servos it came with foam that was painted it came with the gear which it's very nice the gear yeah yeah yeah and then it did come with all the servos and stuff pre-installed just yeah so i i it i mean i think i'm still happy i got it i don't think i over okay so i it was 500 how much 500 for a box of foam i'm not i'm just

[01:25:49] Anyway so anyway so friday morning comes i get set up and like i'm so as everybody that listens to the podcast knows i was on a mission like sell sell sell i was telling everybody come buy my stuff well they did people came and bought my stuff which maybe i was low on the prices maybe i wasn't i don't know i don't care that it's gone i had yeah i left with a wad of cash in my pocket that i can now comfortably spend or at least towards a jet i don't have enough for the whole thing yet but

[01:26:21] It's getting there yeah it's funny because two of the airplanes you took i thought you were extremely low on by 100 bucks or so on each one and then you might be right one of them i thought you were extremely high on for what it was but you got what you got out of all of them yeah you mean

[01:26:43] You got i didn't i didn't i didn't haggle much because i felt like i'm i don't like to haggle i don't like the whole process i'm uncomfortable with it so like when i price something i price it this is what it's this is what it is like if you don't want to pay that someone else here probably will so you can just move on i don't like the haggling part of it but so that's probably why you thought the prices were low because you expect to see a price that's a little high and then you expect to try to work them down i yeah i get it but i i didn't have to haggle too much

[01:27:51] Engines which i have plenty still at home but i probably sold what 40 ish 30 to 40 nitro engines yeah probably give or take and a big chunk of that was to one guy who bought the whole box yeah to resell of course but yeah yeah towards the end after they were picked over and everybody pretty much got the ones they wanted out and i was okay with that because i mean there were you're done there were engines that i was not going to use probably so probably but i

[01:30:39] Jonah yeah and also i don't i don't i don't need to take the stick now the stick can stay at home so no nitro i don't have to fiddle with the nitro there yet yeah that'll be good i get it yeah convenient nitro sucks i know no it's just less convenient than electric

[01:31:00] And you're not going to worry about damaging the engine if you dunk it exactly when yeah when

[01:31:05] Because that one went upside down because it did it was upside down in the lake

[01:31:11] No that's it that's all i got okay so we went to the the museum and so the the biggest

[01:31:19] Drawback about doing that when we did it is we really only had like two and a half hours which is not a lot of time that's no time for a place like that so literally i think i i i took over a thousand pictures and it was tommy didn't take a single picture like the whole weekend it was awesome yeah why bother yeah well well so i can go back and see what i saw because it literally was just oh walk click click click it was so big it took a long time to get through and we were quick about it like we didn't stop that's what i mean like if there was something written out on a plaque

[01:31:51] I just took a picture of it so i could read it later which we were we were we were on a time crunch right we only had two and a half hours before they closed and we knew we weren't going to be back the next day so that literally was the only time we had to be there luckily enough dayton closed the the swap meet closed early enough it closed at two which let's be honest for toledo that's probably a good time to close to four o'clock yeah it's definitely not busy from any time after like actually from probably 12 30 to yeah i was gonna say noon to one yeah at toledo is where it just drops

[01:32:26] Off and the rest of the day should be closed but anyway because dayton closed earlier we had the time to go over and do that there's about a 15-ish minute drive to get over there so by the time we got out and stuff we had about two and a half hours which you ate first which took like five minutes and then we just literally just went in order from how are you supposed to go through all that i got so lost like i can't do that it's not hard and just took pictures as i went like i said of all the airplanes to go back later and enjoy what i saw that's one that i honestly think if you go

[01:33:00] To that museum you should go by yourself like go with a group but don't stick with them that way you

[01:34:14] Park doesn't cost to get in no no it's actually fairly conveniently located like it's if we stay in that place it is absolutely right well but i mean even even coming off of the main interstate that's going through that's not that it wasn't hard to get to at all so but yeah nice highly

[01:34:30] Recommended yeah literally across the street across the street yeah but no i i would definitely be up for that i think that would be cool to take a weekend trip and go through maybe we could do that like this fall or something yeah i think piper'd like to go back or go go yeah she saw some of the pictures and stuff and kind of thought they were neat i like the sr-71 i like the b2 i liked a lot of the newer stuff that it's always neat like the f-117 too it's always neat to see these airplanes that you've seen pictures of i'm not around them i mean like i know military guys around airplanes more and all that stuff

[01:35:05] But i'm not around them to get the scale of them like the f-117 tiny sr-71 long xb-70 b2 huge what was that is that that's a big white mach 3 or whatever yeah and then you throw a b36 in there yeah yeah yeah that i mean that was just very impressive yeah they have a fully assembled b52

[01:35:32] Neat stuff a lot of stuff you don't see like anywhere else yeah that was at the yf-12 or what's the yf-23 no the precursor to 71 yeah what was that y12 the yf-12 yf-12 okay yeah i had one of those didn't realize they were different until i was looking at pictures afterwards i was expecting

[01:35:50] To see a half blue there but they i didn't they had the they had to have blue there when i was there 18 years ago they have the the radar mock-up that they used for radar testing the small like 30 or so but the have blue was not there now they had an f117 there maybe it's maybe they painted it or something but yeah i was expecting to see it the have blue was like the predecessor to the 117 there's a box yeah and it was painted in like shades of blue it was actually oh it's actually in pictures yeah it's actually pretty neat the same shape ish yeah yeah close yeah but

[01:36:37] There's a lot of cool things there the the avrocar i think was one of my favorite ones that was the old flying saucer looking thing oh yeah you always see the videos from the 60s or 50s from nasa or whatnot they had that one there number two i think and like i said that it's it's neat to spend the time and read stuff so you actually know what you're looking at yeah but a lot of the stuff there is is real i mean it's stuff that has flown and flew there and got there i mean not all of it space shuttle mock-up and all that's kind of cheesy but there were a few things so the mock-up was they they

[01:37:23] The the crew training module i thought that was neat because that is an actual i mean that is the yes it didn't fly in space but that is the cockpit like that i mean the cockpit of the ones that went

[01:37:33] In space yeah look just like that where are all of them now was there six that made it or i don't

[01:37:38] Remember i think there was four five right so and then two of them crashed one of them's in new york and i think yeah there's one in i think there's one in cannavro there's one in california sitting i think on a carrier at as a display i think same with the new york one okay so i think there's three on display various places is there one in chicago now there's three that that flew into space but there's also at least one that was just a drop test ship it was set up exactly that endeavor

[01:38:08] That was the enterprise enterprise enterprise yeah endeavor flew yeah i was thinking endeavor was the same as star trek yeah and i don't know where i don't know where they're all are but

[01:38:18] I think it's a google search away yeah that would be neat i think there's like three maybe four

[01:38:25] Counting the drop test ship but anyway awesome awesome awesome museum of course we're talking about the national museum of the united states air force at wright patterson air force base yeah yes we are and you don't have to get on to the base to go to the museum a lot of i've heard people get that confused no you don't have to go on the base to get to the museum you get to the museum

[01:38:46] Without going on base the naval museum is one that's on the base yes exactly but technically

[01:38:51] So i went to that one down in pensacola when i was down there you can get to that without going

[01:38:55] Through the gate guard oh they've changed that because last time i went you had to go through

[01:38:59] The gate guard yeah my sister and her husband just did that a couple weeks well well he can get on because he's got an id but well yes but he made the mistake of originally like the first day they went they didn't make it the blue angels didn't fly because of weather but he waited in line forever because he was in the civilian gate oh whoops and once he got through they told him oh you can just go to the military gate next time so they went the same time in the morning apparently he just had to sit in the car for like 50 minutes because there was no line like he would they were like able to go right through so he didn't have to wait in line like he did before yeah than the day before so yeah

[01:39:34] And that's a good museum too mostly naval airplanes would make sense very neat displays but they do have they do have some air force airplanes in there too which i did not see at the at the air force museum like i didn't see an f-89 there i saw one at pensacola didn't see an f-18 well that's

[01:39:51] That's a navy i know but probably won't see that at the airport still have one why well because it's a cool plane was a new one's not any who's so joe knall joe knall's next so we're getting together this

[01:40:13] Weekend to start the packing progress or process excuse me still got some decisions to make about what about what we're doing for cooking stuff we'll see what we have to take and what food

[01:40:29] We can fit and what cooking materials we can take yep we're gonna host a dinner with the rhode

[01:40:36] Island guys and then they're gonna host a dinner for us so that'll be fun i don't know if you guys knew that or not but yeah yeah so the rhode island guys have invited us to a dinner with them and then we've invited them a dinner with us i want to do a chili night chili ah oh that's takes one thing off our list we have to worry about that's awesome we could do a chili night depending on the which days it rains there that'd be a good day for chili why what it's better when it rains chili goes good in

[01:41:06] Like cold wet weather true you disagree no oh okay i just wasn't sure what your point was oh well a cold rainy day is great for chili i guess that's what i was trying i was thinking like it was easier to make it if it's cold and rainy because we i think it probably is the difficulty is probably the same i know that's what was throwing me so i'm a little dumb sometimes it's no no no

[01:41:30] But anyway yeah so we've got a few decisions to make easy stuff i know you're still you stress about stuff like that and i just want to make sure we have i'm a little less so but i'm the closer it gets the more excited i get like it's like exponential too it's not like a gradual excitement it's like

[01:41:47] Yeah so this is tomorrow night i will have the camper out here saturday we will daniel's bringing his trailer out and it'll be time just to freaking hit it and get it gone i almost had the other word yeah no you're that excited yeah it'll be time to load up and get all our stuff put in

[01:42:07] It's tomorrow night i'll probably go ahead and buy that the grill from walmart i think are you going to i think so yeah i think that just makes the most sense it's convenient ish

[01:42:16] Why don't you wait okay only because once we get stuff loaded if we have room for my grill

[01:42:22] Oh okay i don't think one yeah if we have room i don't mind i mean we don't need that much grill

[01:42:29] We don't need to buy a grill just to take if we own a grill

[01:42:33] Which grill are you talking about the big silver one that's a lot of grill that is a huge grill i know that's what i mean if it fits okay you're not worried about it getting damaged or anything like that no we don't mine's smaller too like a cheap 90 grill i'm more comfortable taking than your

[01:42:47] However much that grill was we don't use that one anymore like i mean since we got the griddle i have

[01:42:53] Not used that grill oh okay regardless we got a lot of decisions to make yeah my trailer needs a bath still got tire residue on the side oh yeah and did you say you can't get that out here you don't think it'll come in the it i can get it out here but it will drag okay then we'll have to figure

[01:43:12] Like we'll exactly times and stuff for friday that we'll meet and where we'll meet probably meet at

[01:43:18] That gas station yeah unless no that's probably less convenient for him so we may have to catch up with him like on the interstate or something yeah we'll catch up it's it's fine we'll figure it out

[01:43:28] Well i mean that wouldn't he take we'll we'll talk about that off everybody doesn't need to listen to us talk about that that's true boring but anyway we all have flow planes to fly at joe knolls yes if you're joe knoll come see us yes please do i so i will say a little programming note i don't know if we are going to have a delay with our next episode it is very possible likely that we will yeah only because the next time we're supposed to release will be the friday before we leave to come home from joe knoll and i'm going to be honest that's going to be my vacation week and i don't

[01:44:00] Know how much effort and time i want to put into editing and uploading and doing all that kind of stuff and i have nothing else to talk about other than joe knoll so well that's i mean that's yeah

[01:44:11] We're going to try to record with the road island guys we'll see if they want to i mean i'm taking my

[01:44:16] Stuff to record but that was fun there's a good amount of time that does go into

[01:44:21] Process and all that stuff that you guys but at least if you get it recorded you could do all that when we get home and then oh yeah absolutely upload it late i don't think i think there's a 12 hour drive blame us yeah well but he'll be sleeping not on the way home i'll be awake that'll be the

[01:44:38] Saturday after we're supposed to release but maybe yeah we'll see i can sit in the back while you guys are driving and well hopefully i don't get a headache i mean we'll see i don't know if i can look at a screen

[01:44:49] While we're driving or not you do i do i get carsick not cars but the woozy woozy that's the word i like to use

[01:44:58] So yes joan all all that and trying to get rid of or get ready for joan all i did go and get my eyes

[01:45:05] Checked yesterday i don't know why i think that's funny are you gonna get the shut up yes somebody's getting bifocals they said it's time for bifocals progressives which just say progressives that

[01:45:19] Doesn't sound as bad it does no it doesn't sounds just as bad progressive sounds progressive and i i i got and i i don't even know if i'm gonna have it in time that's the thing that sucks but i did order new contacts which i'm gonna have to buy reading glasses for when i have my contacts yes how wonderful is

[01:45:40] That can we get him the little cables yes there's a guy hey let's get him the ones that have the

[01:45:45] Magnetic things you just pop them off there's a guy that has those and i love those yeah it just yeah exactly what i'm talking about oh yeah i know what you're talking about yeah but anyway so i did that and of course they go through and it's always stressful because they ask you which one is clearer and i'm afraid i'm going to make the wrong decision sometimes because i you can't tell like so that's what you tell them well i show you the same ones over and over well maybe that's a good thing then because that's why i kept saying i i can't tell like i don't know they'll jump back to it okay well i feel a little bit better about that but then of course after she gets everything all

[01:46:20] Situated and stuff and finds what my new one is at the end she's like okay which is better one or two she goes back i'm like oh i can tell one's a lot better two's two's blurry it kind of sucks well that's your current prescription like oh son of a really like it was that bad i had no

[01:46:38] Clue it sneaks up on you it sure does so i wore the contacts home because obviously that's what

[01:46:44] They gave me and i wasn't going to throw them away oh yeah like trees have leaves big difference

[01:46:51] And all that stuff so i'm i'm hoping that will help yeah wait till you look at an airplane in the sky with that yeah that's what that's the whole reason yeah did you get the ones that auto start

[01:47:00] Darkened too no so i haven't actually ordered my final version of glasses yet okay i did get online i don't know if you guys have ever bought anything through zenni optical i i love them that's where i got my glasses my my last pair of glasses like these frames were seven dollars i mean they're just so cheap on their glass and they're actually pretty good quality but anyway so i i ordered a

[01:47:22] Disposable pair if i didn't actually for trial or whatever well i didn't get the bifocals yet and here's why progressives progressives i didn't get the progressives yet because she told me it will

[01:47:34] Take some time to get used to really oh i didn't have any problem at all oh really i've heard other

[01:47:41] People like all sorts of problems like you may be at them then the last one like maybe a day it took me

[01:47:48] To get used to i have more trouble jumping back and forth between single vision and the progressives

[01:47:53] Because my sunglasses are just single vision okay oh see i don't i don't do sunglasses anymore mine do

[01:47:59] The whole transition i went tuesday had my eyes checked oh yeah just for this pretty much yeah see you're making fun of me tommy you're smart i'm not making fun of you so i did get the the tint i love them i was on the lying about it and they talked me into it and i said some people don't like it i've got i didn't go with the gray i went more with the the brown or tan which makes things like brighter so more like those orange flight glasses so i don't know we'll see but i

[01:48:33] Don't have time i don't like i know right that's i don't even have to think about she said two weeks well well two weeks is hopefully they're coming earlier so here's the thing zenny optical i bought a

[01:48:44] Full pair of glasses with like i said not progressive lenses just the regular single vision lenses and i i actually bought for them expensive frames they're like 35 bucks the whole glasses delivered was 64 or something like that but that's only because i could get those rush shipping so i'll have them in three to five business days so i will have those before i go and shipping was 19 of that yeah well so isn't that well i know but i'm just saying like it might be worth looking

[01:49:15] Into that and ordering an extra pair so you have them before we go mine were considerably more than

[01:49:20] That but i didn't pay any of it my insurance paid for it well my insurance paid for a big chunk but it

[01:49:25] Still was a a big chunk i decided it wasn't worth buying the insurance because this is the first time

[01:49:33] I have actually done it you may want to reconsider that especially if you're going to redo your glasses every couple of years which you should because your eyes will change but i have no problem like

[01:49:42] I said with the place online that i bought them i have and actually it's kind of fun the last time i did it i bought i think 11 pairs of glasses through them just so i had different ones that fit my mood i had the harry potter glasses those exact ones i had the big like drew carry glasses i had i'm trying to think what else i had a whole bunch of different ones okay yeah i think i've said too much now

[01:50:06] Actually at least the good part mine is i still had a stack of contacts mine didn't she says your vision didn't change that much she upped my my progressives okay she upped that but my contacts aren't yeah my contacts changed enough yeah so she says you can still use the contacts you got you didn't change enough so that's that's one reason i didn't buy new contacts yeah i had to buy

[01:50:35] New contacts i'm hoping i have four now so they gave me they give you a pack of five to try on you have to try one on there when you get the contacts so i still have four good contacts one like the one a days so we'll i've got four days at least where i can wear contacts there which i i never did the dailies i always did the i don't wear them enough oh like i'm honest i did the

[01:50:59] Dailies but the problems i had with that i couldn't get them out they were like because they're like so thin i really because they make the dailies thin okay i had problems getting them out and i would fight and fight and fight i just went back to the monthlies and i don't have a problem oh yeah i would

[01:51:14] Wear the monthlies for like four months oh yeah me too and i didn't have any problems well see i buy

[01:51:19] Six months worth and get almost two years exactly i mean it's i refuse to stick my finger in my eyeball

[01:51:24] So well i can't anymore like as you get older apparently your eyes get dry and also develop a sensitivity to the plastic they're made of so i forgot about that i can't wear them anymore i forgot that happened yeah sucks getting old but i'm there too it didn't matter because i needed progressives anyway and progressive contact lenses are insane expensive i've got them and i i don't like

[01:51:47] Them okay i had problems with them i bought the first set and it just gives me problems well then

[01:51:53] They i'm sorry we're yeah yeah this is all mono vision the whole way one close one did you try that yeah oh my brain just flipped out i could not that's really i don't wear the contacts i wear my

[01:52:04] Contacts to fly and when i go on the boat yeah see that's the same with me anytime i don't see that's

[01:52:11] Why i like these i wear these no matter what i'm doing yeah but i don't want to like when i wear

[01:52:15] Sunglasses if i have my contacts in i want the ones that block me out completely because i i have a pro like i have a light sensitivity like i could not just wear sunglasses like you have with that shape where it doesn't wrap around because too much light gets in oh like i can't fly without sunglasses and a hat and all that stuff it just well i have to wear a hat it's not because of my

[01:52:37] Vision though because you're bald head anyway we'll see how much of a lobster i turn into it and all because my new heart med makes me light sensitive oh you wear a hat i've seen your floppy yeah i got

[01:52:52] The military take it with you oh it's in the trailer i've got two or three of them it never leaves the trailer yeah i bought a new one but i'm really excited about nice a new hat cool yeah it's big like wide i can't wait to see it and then it's got a tolly thing on the back oh the hat you got yeah but just mine's not big and wide mine doesn't say ama proud sponsor or whatever yours says no it

[01:53:14] Was just ama something but i did get the horizon hobby elite hat the the big straw hat nice that one no maybe i'll take that to get made fun of you should definitely take that hat oh anyway i need to actually hats that's one thing to put on here see as you talk i remember more stuff listeners are long gone oh yeah there's nobody it's just for us and that's okay that's big
